Meet the Band
What sets Funk Fatale apart is our powerhouse 8-piece band featuring dual female vocalists Rachel Sierra and Jessica Adlawan. Backed by a dynamic rhythm and horn section, our seasoned musicians deliver an electrifying blend of sound that's uniquely ours.
Each member brings years of professional experience and a deep passion for creating unforgettable performances. Together, we've crafted a signature sound that combines tight harmonies, infectious grooves, and seamless transitions to keep the energy high all night long.
Rachel Sierra
From the time she was 13, Rachel has been either the front woman of a band or accompanying herself on piano or guitar. After enrolling in the Recording Artist program at Musicians Institute, she toured the U.S. and internationally for 4 years as lead backup singer with Pharcyde.
• Toured with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Talib Kweli, Damien and Ziggy Marley
• Opened for Coco Montoya and Charlie Muscle White
• Released two R&B/POP/SOUL albums
• Co-wrote 3 chart-topping country hits
Jessica Adlawan
Her tone, range, and power set Jess apart from the legion of cover-women. A lifelong performer, Jess grew up singing in local competitions and musical theater programs throughout the Bay Area.

Graham Edwards
With over 20 years of experience, Graham has been slinging his axe in gigging bands throughout the Bay Area. His versatile style and energy help drive Funk Fatale's signature sound.

Todd Tribble

Steve Steinberg
Steve's soulful saxophone adds the perfect blend of jazz and funk to every performance. With decades of experience in both live performance and studio work, he brings a professional polish to the Funk Fatale sound.

Matt Piazza
Matt brings the jazz, R&B and blues to the funk grooves, mixing it up between piano, electric Rhodes, clavinet, and B3 style organ.

Ella Steinberg
Dr. Ella has conducted, directed, and performed with more musical ensembles than we can list here, including MC Hammer, Dionne Warwick, and Lisa Fischer. Like Miles, she manages to hit the right note, at the right time, and even more, manages to find those special places between. When not with Funk Fatale, you'll find Ella playing trumpet (and arranging) with Soul Section, Narada Michael Walden, All Star Jukebox, and Notorious.

Terry Miller
Terry provides the feverishly funky bottom end bass grooves for the band. A Producer, Composer, Clinician, and Arranger, he's also the Founder & Director of Terry's Kids, a charitable program devoted to the Arts.
